The history of Gugler Elektronik AG in a nutshell

1990 - 2021

Founded in 1990 by the family Gugler, the company has always been able to grow and develop steadily with its customers.

From the pure THT-production the SMT-production was added shortly after. Mr Gugler was always one step ahead with his processes and always kept the company up to date. This includes, for example, the development of the assembly department, cable assembly as well as PCB painting departments.

For many years Gugler Elektronik has also been certified according to ISO13485 and is also allowed to manufacture for medical technology customers.

2021

The Gugler family sells the company Gugler-Elektronik and the previous production manager Matthias Schafer takes over the management of the company as managing director. For the Gugler family, the first priority was to ensure that the company would continue to maintain its competence, flexibility and customer proximity as well as striving for continuous further development, even under new ownership and management. Another important point was that the existing employees can stay and continue to work in the company.

2022

In response to the semiconductor crisis, a lot was invested in material handling. An X-ray component counter and an automated incoming goods system were procured. With these systems, it is now possible for us to ensure traceability from the finished products back to the component manufacturer and to always know how much material we have in stock at any given time, without time-consuming manual inventories.

2023

The SMD capacities were almost exhausted, so in summer 2023 we invested in an additional placement module to further increase our output and to be able to continue to offer our customers the necessary flexibility at the highest quality.

Our history at Gugler-Elektronik AG will continue steadily and we are happy to inform you here about our milestones.
